Is fluoride in the water supply a danger to the people who are consuming it and to the environment?
The answer is YES.
The first thing I need to give you is some history of how fluoride got into our water supply and toothpaste. The following article is about the first disaster with fluoride in a valley in Belguim in 1930. The fluoride was in the air and was very toxic to the people. This happened and the politicos and corporations were not able to put spin on this disaster.
During WWII there were events that changed history. One event was the massive growth of the aluminum industry becoming the darling of the war effort. This was a major achievement when aluminum was used in the manufacturing of airplanes. There is no doubt that this shortened the war.
The second event was the extraction of uranium from ore to make the first atomic bombs.
The third event was the processing of phosphate into gunpowder for bombs and bullets. The major event with this was the transformation of gunpowder to chemical fertilizers out of phosphates.
The thing that each of these three industries had in common was fluoride, which is a very toxic substance that killed animals and plant life around the areas where these products were made.
The following article concerned a weather inversion in Donora, PA in 1948. The fluoride in the air was from the smelting plant that was owned by US Steel. Because of the mishap in Belgium and the fact that it was 18 years late with better “spin” technology, the people who died or became disabled in Donora were never compensated. The “spin doctors” from the Carnegie Institute in Pittsburgh, PA and the Truman administration covered up this disaster.
The smog first rolled into Donora on October 27, 1948. By the following day it was causing coughing and other signs of respiratory distress for many residents of the community in the Monongahela River valley. Many of the illnesses and deaths were initially attributed to asthma. The smog continued until it rained on October 31, by which time 20 residents of Donora had died and approximately a third to one half of the town’s population of 14,000 residents had been sickened. Sixty years later, the incident was described by The New York Times as “one of the worst air pollution disasters in the nation’s history”. Even ten years after the incident, mortality rates in Donora were significantly higher than those in other communities nearby.
Sulfur dioxide emissions fromU.S. Steel‘s Donora Zinc Works and its American Steel & Wire plant were frequent occurrences in Donora. What made the 1948 event more severe was a temperature inversion, in which a mass of warm, stagnant air was trapped in the valley, the pollutants in the air mixing with fog to form a thick, yellowish, acrid smog that hung over Donora for five days. The sulfuric acid, nitrogen dioxide, fluorine and other poisonous gases that usually dispersed into the atmosphere were caught in the inversion and accumulated until the rain ended the weather pattern.
It was not until Sunday morning the 31st of October that a meeting occurred between the operators of the plants and the town officials. Burgess Champion requested the plants temporarily cease operations. The superintendent of the plants, L.J. Westhaver, said the plants already began to shut down operation at around 6am that morning. With the rain alleviating the smog, the plants resumed normal operation the following morning.
Researchers analyzing the event have focused likely blame on pollutants from the zinc plant, whose emissions had killed almost all vegetation within a half-mile radius of the plant. Dr. Devra L. Davis, director of the Center for Environmental Oncology at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute, has pointed to autopsy results showing fluorine levels in victims in the lethal range, as much as 20 times higher than normal. Fluorine gas generated in the zinc smelting process became trapped by the stagnant air and was the primary cause of the deaths.
The government and corporate USA obviously did not want a recurrence of Belgium and Donora. This is where fluoride in the water was born.
There was a discovery that young soldiers from the Hereford West Texas area had few cavities and that the water had natural occurring fluoride. No one did a study of this, the government and corporations just started promoting this idea. If they had researched this a little they would have found that the soldiers had great teeth because there was a lot of calcium in the soil. The people in the Hereford area who had fluoride actually had fluorosis that weakened the enamel on their teeth and made them a grayish motley color.
Corporations went ahead with putting fluoride in the water. Many doctors and dentists warned of the dangers of medicating a whole culture, but many were singled out by “hit squads” to discredit them. They were set up with prostitutes or false malpractice complaints so they would lose their licenses to practice medicine or dentistry.
What type of fluoride is used in the public drinking water? The fluoride used in public drinking water is not natural occurring from nature. The people are getting the toxic version – hexafluorosilicic acid and sodium silicofluoride. These two compounds are considered highly toxic by the EPA. They are considered a hazardous waste. When packaged for shipping, they are labeled as a poison.
These chemicals come from phosphate mining companies. The phosphate is made into fertilizers which are toxic to the soil and crops in its own right. Another byproduct of this industry is phosphoric acid used in soft drinks. It is compared to battery acid. It is believed to reduce bone mineral density.
In the past, the fluoride was released into the atmosphere and then it settled to the ground around the fertilizer plant where it killed animals and plant life. The corporations began capturing the fluoride gasses and putting them into liquids and containers for shipping to municipal water plants. The toxic fluoride is dripped into the public water supply in almost all big cities in the USA. This is mass medication of the people. The people drink some of the water while the rest is used for showers (absorbed into the skin), toilets, washing machines, dishes, lawns, cars and other everyday uses.
When doctors and dentists say that they support fluoride in the water, what they are really saying is that they approve of the mass poisoning of the population with a highly toxic hazardous waste product.
Fluoride allowed to go into the sewer system and down streams and rivers into lakes is illegal because it is toxic, yet if it is “prescribed as a mass medication”, it is legal.
If it was not so diabolical, the fluoridation of healthy people would be brilliant. The people who produce chemical fertilizers have found a way to make a profit selling a hazardous waste that is bad for the environment. In fact, this pollution, if it was not a mass medication, would be considered an act of terrorism. We, the people, are the toxic waste dumpsites for toxins produced by the fertilizer industry.
Over the last several decades about 24 studies have proven that the IQ levels of children have been driven downward by the use of fluoride in the public water supply. Fluoride is probably responsible for the drop in academic achievement in first world countries.
It has been documented that the Germans used fluoride in the drinking water in concentration camps during WWII. The use of fluoride reduces lithium in people to cause depression. This is one of the reasons that Jews and political prisoners did not fight back on their way to the gas chambers.
To show you how math skills have dropped since the 1950’s, the math taught to 8th graders then is now taught in college level courses.
The other source of fluoride is in toothpaste and if we want to be healthy, we need to find toothpastes that contain no fluoride.
What is the solution for this dumbing down of the USA? We need to protest to our cities, doctors, dentists, etc. We have the ability to help ourselves, but we have to get off our duffs and make a difference.
